In today’s fast-paced and violent world, a lot of criminal performances are being done by senior people, however, some young people are engaging in crimes, boosting their criminal behaviors. Some people think youngsters should be punished the same way as adults for their mistakes. To my way of thinking, they should take a light punishment because it is easier to correct their bad-tempered behavior and they are more submissive than adults.
Evidently, many young people participate in crimes such as vandalism, burglary, robbery, arson, assault and even terrorism. There are some key factors why they aspire to do a violation and offence. The first main factors are family problems, parental neglect and abuse which have very detrimental impact on a child’s manner. The child may become more wrathful and lose self-fulfillment inasmuch as his parents neglect and bite him. As a result, it may lead to drink alcohol and drugs which pose many crimes such as sexual offences. Another chief reasons are poverty, lack of opportunity, social isolation and struggling with mental health issues or addiction. The huge number of young robbers steal money in the light of that they are stricken by poverty and they think they do not have another chance in their own way. Young offenders need to affable environment and special psychologist. The government should also create an opportunity for them to educate well and to do their hobbies. Parents, on the other hand, should separate their more time for their children so that they will not be in a part of the criminal world in the future.
There are many bad influences in punishing child in a strict way. Some youngsters are penalized by their parents and relatives in a tight way. They bite, abuse or even deprive their kids from food or freedom. These may provoke child’s bad manner and urge to do a crime. Moreover, he may get a revenge from people who discriminated when he grows up. Parents may also reduce child’s self-esteem, self-assurance or interests in life by penalizing brutally.
To sum up, both parents and the government are responsible for children’ s life. Parents must bring up their children in a friendly condition and monitor their education which plays a crucial role in every person’s life. Personally, I think strict treatment is never the answer. We should punish in moderation.
