In recent years, crime rates are increasing. There is an opinion that putting those who committed crimes in prison is the best option. Personally, I agree with this point of view for two reasons.
Firstly, putting criminals in to prisons can help societies to get rid of them. This will ensure the individuals to trust each other, fostering sense of community. Since there is no criminals out there making crimes, people feel that they are safe as well as their properties. For example, if one forget to lock their car at the carpark or at the side of the road, they can confidently feel that no one touches or steals their car. Because all the criminals are in the prisons. However, if the crime was too minor like pocket picking, this punishment can be too strict.
Second reason is that this can also help the imprisoner himself or herself This is mainly because it is mostly derved that in most prisons inprisoners are kept under discipline or pressure. According to records, most people who commited evince and arrested, even after being free from prison keep that discipline in their later life which helps them to be more successful compared to their life before being putted in prisons. For example, they can cut down their future opportunities and access which is sentenced to prison in most countries.
In conclusion, I completely agree with this idea, that putting criminals into prison which is supported some people, sending criminals directly to prisons is one of the best approaches to take action for public and personal growth.
