In 2020, 52% of the students were female, while 48% were male. Among male students, Engineering was the most popular subject, chosen by 40%. Business and Arts and Humanities were equally selected, each by 15% of male students. Science attracted 20%, while Education and Other fields accounted for only 5% each.
In contrast, female students had a more balanced distribution among subjects. The most popular subject for females was Arts and Humanities (25%), followed by Science (20%) and Business (15%). Education and Other subjects also attracted 15% each, while only 10% of female students chose Engineering, making it the least preferred option among women.
In summary, Engineering was heavily dominated by male students, whereas Arts and Humanities were more popular among females. Both genders showed similar interest in Business and Science.
