The diagram illustrates the cycle of aluminum beverage cans’ production during a six month period . Overall, the process consists of eleven main stages, starting with delivering aluminum waste and ending by producing new cans to be dispersed to users.

First, the cans are collected as waste and transported on trucks to the deposit factory. Afterwards, the waste is washed by water to purify impurities, before the empty cans are crushed flatly and pressed into large cubes.

Then, the raw materials are transferred to process and erase with chemicals to clear the paint on the outside of the cans. After that, it is heated with fire to melt, then poured into a mould to prepare for the following steps. Next, the material is put on a weight to examine, then placed into a machine to roll. After it is flat, the factory would mould it into new cans, ready to be disposed of to users.
