The pie charts compare the proportions of students at the secondary level engaging in different subjects at a school in the UK between 1995 and this year.
Overall, students at the UK school in 1995 chose to study history the most, while IT is the most popular option among students this year. It is also reported that RS and drama subjects have been deleted in the school’s subjects, making room for the IT subject.
Looking first at the percentage of history and geography, 26% of students opted for the former subjects in 1995, while a slight smaller can be seen in this year’s data. The disparity between the two year, in terms of the number of students learning the latter, was greater, with 21% and 23%, respectively.
Turning to the remaining courses, art made up 15% of the total students in 1995, exceeding the corresponding figure for students in this year by 7%. As for business, however, the total students of both year remained the same, at 16%. Finally, while RS and drama subjects accounted for 9% and 12% of the total students, those lessons have been removed, after which IT subject was the most favored among students, with 27%.
