Recently, while proponents hold the view that money which comes from jobs is the most essential thing to consider at work, opponents and I argue otherwise. I am a staunch believer that job salary is indispensable, but the work environment is the most crucial thing to put into our consideration.
To embark on, salaries play a pivotal role in our life. To enumerate, if individuals have a well-paid occupation; that can facilitate their lives, and support their basic needs. For example, a plethora of Egyptian youth are seeking to improve their careers, quitting their jobs for livelihood occupations to support their families, enhance their lives and cover their needs. Hence, what can be said is that there are more things to consider, aside from financials.
On the other hand, the work environment plays a prominent role in all jobs. To illustrate more, when people are working in a supportive environment, they will be more creative and finish their work primarily before deadlines. A prime example of this is the Egyptian people, who are continuing in overloaded jobs with detrimental salaries, just because they have an approachable manager. Thus, people do not only choose jobs for lucrative salaries, but they get them because they want to help others and contribute positively to society.
In conclusion, by providing the above-mentioned points, it can be reiterated that although money is quintessential for covering people’s life needs, satisfactory working conditions are more crucial than monetary rewards. Therefore, I am convinced that having an incentive atmosphere at work will encourage people to like their occupations and stay at them.
