The chart illustrates the percentage of young individuals’ expectations for change in the next 20 years in five different sections.
Looking from an overall perspective, it can be readily apparent that although most of the young generation expressed their optimism for people communication, whereas virtually all of them expect that air quality will experience a downward movement.
Regarding health, water quality and food quality is predicted the majority of the participants do not have high expectations on the improvement of most mentioned aspects. It showed a negative trend supported by over 50% with three areas with 58%, 60% and 53% respectively.
Turning to remains, around 65% of young people answered that thay believe interpersonal communications will be improved. And this figure is the highest percentage of people who believe in an improvement in other areas of life in the EU. In contrast, the expectation of air quality will get the worst with just under 80% of young individuals choosing that answer.
