The process diagrams give information about the manufacturing and recycling process of glass substances, like bottles.
Glass production consists of four steps, whereas in the recycling
process, five steps are involved. Every stage is crucial and omission of any step can halt the whole process.
In terms of glass production, the first and foremost stage is mixing the sand, soda ash, limestone, and other chemicals in an appropriate manner. After that, the mixed material is melted into a Glass furnace at around 1500C temperature. Then, the molted glass is shaped. Finally, the Glass containers are manufactured.
On the other hand, the recycling process of glass consists of five stages. Firstly, collect all the used glass, and then differentiate them according to their color. In the next stage, washing has been done to remove their impurities and dust particles. After crushing the glass, they went through a melting process. As soon as melting has been done, the molten glass is molded to form new products or items. Hence, the recycling process is completed.
