The given diagram provides information about the process of manufacturing sugar from beets.
Overall, there are nine stages in the production of sugar.
The process begins when beets, which have been collected in the farm, are unloadeed from delivery truck. In the following, stage the beetroot is sieved to remove all excessive dirt and rocks. The third stage involves cleaning the raw material in a special washing equipment. The foruth stage of the procedure happens on a conveyor belt, where the pre-ready product is cut up into a similar-sized disks. Next, before adding lime juice into a sugary syrup to purify it, the sliced pieces of beetroot are submerged into water and boiled up at 70 degrees C. Then the primary mixture is filtered, so the even sugar juice is obtained. In order to evaporate extra water, the liquid is boiled several times. The process ends with spinning the sediment in a centrifuge to extract the crystals of sugar.
