The pic chart gives data comparing the percentage of energy manufactured by various resources in a country from 1985 to 2003.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that oil achieved a higher popularity than other sources of energy which were natural gas, coal, hydrogen, nuclear and other renewable resources over the given period.
Looking at the details, in 1985 the energy from oil was more than half; nearly two decades it declined by 39% in 2003. Nuclear was another source of energy which initially contributed around 22% and finally decreased to 17% in 2003, whereas Hydrogen showed a similar result both of these times that was less than 10%.
Turning to the figure, natural gas revealed an increasing trend was 13% and grew to 23 % in 2003. On the other hand, coal accounted for a much smaller slice than natural gas which was initially 10% in 1985, but at the end of the period it supplied energy at 13%, but other renewable resources produced a lesser amount of energy only 1% and the next decade it improved just 4% in 2003.
