In general, conventional television recorded the highest viewership at first, but its popularity dipped to become the least favorite by the end. Furthermore, the least used device was the tablet at the beginning. Notably, the flat TV registered a surge in viewership to conclude as the most used device.
Initially, 34% of the youth preferred the normal television, which was followed by the laptop at 20% and the desktop computer at 18% in 2009. However, in 2019, the conventional TV utilization plummeted to 4%. In addition, both the laptop and desktop computer usage dipped to 12%.
Conversely, the flat screen had a mere 8% in 2009, which spiked to 27% in 2019. Moreover, in the first year, the cellular phone and tablet experienced 15% and 5% audiences respectively. Afterwards, a substantial increase was noted for the phones in 2019 at 26%. Lastly, the tablet spiked its numbers to 19%.
