The table provides information on the percentage of first-year students who rated college resources as “very good” across three courses: Economics, Law, and Commerce.
Overall, Commerce received the highest “very good” ratings across all resources, while Law had more mixed feedback. Pre-course information and teaching showed the biggest variations among the three subjects.
Regarding pre-course information, Commerce stood out with 95%, making it significantly more popular than Law and Economics at 72% and 59%, respectively. Teaching, on the other hand, was rated equally high in both Commerce and Economics (95%), just ahead of Law, which only received 62%.
As for tutor support, all three courses were rated highly, with Commerce once again leading at 93%, compared to 90% for Economics and 76% for Law. Although the difference was not very large, Law was less positively rated than the other two.
Looking at print resources, Commerce received the best rating at 85%, followed by Economics (81%) and Law (70%). In terms of other resources, Law and Commerce scored almost equally (80% and 81%), whereas Economics lagged behind at only 60%.
