The pie charts illustrate the changes in the proportion of different devices used by people aged between 18 and 25 to watch television in a European country in 2007 and 2017. Overall, there was a significant increase in the percentage of mobile phone using over the ten-year period, while traditional TV gained the least popularity among different devices.
In 2007, the most popular device was conventional TV, accounting for 34% of total usage, followed closely by mobile phones at 15%, while the proportion of tablet using was only 5%. The percentage of desktop computer and laptop devices were used by 18% and 20% of people. Also, flat-screen TV represented 8%.
By 2017, all devices experienced various trends and there was a noticeable increase in the proportion of flat-screen TV from 8% to 27% and this figure reached the highest a peak between 2007 and 2017, while the figure for conventional TV was 4%. Tablet increased significantley from 5% to 19% in 2017. Laptop and desktop computer saw the same decline by 12%, while mobile phone grew 15% to 26%,18 and 25 aged of people in 2007 and 2017.
