Most of people believe that computer skills necessary for primery school students, as other major subjects. Despite the fact that this topic is controversial, I personally think that teaching computer skills to elementary school students is too early. The forthcoming paragraphs are going to analyze the major reasons for my view supported by evidence.
One of the main reasons why teaching computer skills in elementary school is not the best idea under the fact of it is bad for children’s health. In plain words, since age of the children in primary school starts from five or six to ten years old, using computor for a long time can gives them a side effects. For exsample headache, deterioration of vision and fatigue. As a result, children are able to lose their interest for studying and become more nervous. Also the youngsters may become less focused and stressed.
Another major reason why computer skills should not be added to primary school is they do not need computer at primary school. First things first, they should be taught how to read and write, further to this they can learn computer skills in middle school, when they become more mature. Be that as it may, soak up the technical skills in middle school would be more easier for students. As in those age they would have some experience with gadgets.
To conclude, I believe computer skills are as important as reading, writing, math and other primary subjects. Therefore computer skills should be added later.
