Technological advancement is increasing day by day,and readables are also digitalized into online books.It is believed that books,newspapers and magazines will no longer exist in hard form, while others hold the opposite viewpoint that paper based material can not vanish.In my opinion, ELectronic books are more convenient and globally available with one touch.However, the importance of paper based books cannot be ignored.In this essay, I will explain both sides.

Technology has made reading and writing easy and comfortable. One can read e-books, magazines, and newspapers at any time and anywhere in the world. For instance, my brother was traveling to Dubai for a seminar; he forgot his books at home, and the very next day he had an English exam. Immediately, he downloaded an e-book and studied online. Additionally, he learned about the latest research and developments on that specific topic. However, it is not a healthy option for the eyes; many people around the world weaken their eyesight due to the overuse of digital media.

On the other hand, traditional paper books cannot be eliminated from our desks. Though in the digital era, many people prefer to read books by hand, as it is more convenient and allows us to stay focused on the topic. Moreover, one can concentrate better and cannot be distracted by ads, games, and unrelated material, which is a significant hurdle when reading e-books. Hard copies of books are more user-friendly for children. For example, my ten-year-old younger sister was searching for cake recipes on the internet and became confused because there are numerous baking methods available for one dish. Therefore, she went to the local market and bought a baking book. It was to the point and did not have distractions. Thus, people of certain age groups still require traditional books, magazines, and newspapers.

To concluded, electric material makes reading,writing easy and we can read latest research and development, remain updated with current affairs, and search magazines with latest trend online withen a minute which is not possible for paper-based material.
