Nowadays, some individuals argue that it is more vital to satisfy profession instead of job guarantee. Meanwhile, others believe that having a certain job is much more important. In this essay, I will discuss both these views and give my opinion.
It is understandable why some people think that job security is more important. In recent times, there is an increase in job unemployment, especially in the young. This lead to a lack of living expense such as housing and transportation, which are really essential for everyone’s lives. Moreover, job satisfaction is usually based on passion and hobby so sometimes it can not help employees have a good earning, especially in a always changing world with expensive things. Therefore, having a permanent job with a stable salary is much more needed at this time.
However, I would argue that profession satisfaction is more crucial than job guarantee. Although a well-paid job with a stable salary can help some citizens gain a comfortable lifestyle without stress of money and job, they can not reach inside and mental happiness due to their jobs. This even lead to depression and mental health issues due to not pursuing their dreams. Furthermore, when being thrilled in dream jobs, this also can create better productivity in their own carrers. Because of having enough happiness and passion, reaching a good earning and even having a well mental living is not too difficult.
In conclusion, there are sufficient grounds to reject the view that job satisfaction is less important than a permanent job. Having a carrer path with happiness is much more vital nowadays.
