Overall, it can be seen that the total of research students in Australian universities from 2001 to 2010 was significantly increased in the table charts. Regarding to pie charts, the rate of international research students and local research students also increased sharply and contributed over the years.
It can be clearly that the total of local research students and international research students rosed in 2010, from 38,849 to 54,081. In 2010, this figure was significantly increased, with 39,488 and 14,593 students.
Regarding to pie charts, the percentage of international research students was lowest, about total 13 percent in 2001. However, this ratio increased about 12% and 15%. To contrast, the rate of local research students in 2001 was higher than local research students in 2010. In 2001, the number of local male students and local femal student occupied approximately equal proportions, with 43% and 44%. But in 2010, this ratio decreased only approximate 35% and 38%.
