This is a line graph that depicts the proportions of Math and other majors graduates from a university in Australia that have obtained a full-time job after graduating in addition of the average of their salaries between the years 2004 and 2012.
Overall, it is clear from the chart below that all graduates had the same salary average from 2004 to 2006. Followed by the year 2008, both types of graduates witnessed an increase in the salary average that continued till the year 2012.
Starting with Math major, 80 per cent of the graduates from 2004 to 2006 worked full-time jobs, followed by 85 per cent in 2008, then the number declined in 2010 going back to 80 per cent and remained the same untill 2012.
Moving to other majors, the amount of graduates started by appoximately 65 per cent in 2004, then went up to about 80 per cent in 2006, then continued to slightly decrease from 2008 till 2012, by respectively 82 per cent, 75 per cent, and finally 65 per cent.
