Success is dedicated by various qualities such as communication, cooperation. While others think that the qualities to become successful in this day and age cannot be learned at a university. From my perspective, the qualities an individual needs to be successful still have to be studied in colleges.
Universities provide opportunities for their students to improve skills and enhance connections. Firstly, through their curriculum, they equip knowledge, skills. Also provide degrees after graduation which authentic proof of student’s capabilities. Secondly, students studying in universities can expand their relationship circle. For instance, universities often have various clubs which often invite guests, professionals and alumni related to their field of interest. These events provide students with opportunities to make valuable connections that could help in their future career or academic settings.
Colleges and similar academic institutions also provide employment opportunities. Firstly, when students are working hard in their academic fields, they can ask their teachers or professors to write reference letters which can add this to level up their job applications and link graduates up with potential employees. Secondly, colleges equip a lot of soft skills including communicating and cooperating through group projects and assignments.
However, some people argue that the university curriculum’s knowledge is too theoretical and inapplicable, but universities have internship programs to gain hands-on experiences and find employment.
In conclusion, higher education is the best way to assist people in becoming professionals in their lives because universities can provide students with various qualities to be successful in their domains.
