As far as I am concerned, the specialy tailored medicines are the best option for healing a human body, but such a treatment could cost a fortune. As the majority of population of a country is madeup of middle-class and such a expence on basic needs could result in economical trouble for people.
While making a decision regarding development in such a needy field requiers consideration of majority of population. Even if the development takes place, a common still may not use the service due to financial factor. The treatment for sure would be the best while considering the fact that it might burn a hole in pocket of majority of households. As a human everyone needs healthcare throughout the life and so in order for treatment he may choose regular way of normal medication or move to other country for treatments.
