The bar chart illustrates the percentage of people, residing in Sydney, Australia, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart, that either bought fresh coffee, instant coffee, or went to a café to buy coffee or tea in the duration of 4 weeks.
For most of the Australian cities, visiting a café to buy coffee or tea is definitely the most popular followed by buying instant coffee. This makes perfect sense as residents would find it less time consuming and more affordable to get coffee or make instant coffee in their busy working lives. However, the residents of Adelaide prefer buying instant coffee over visiting a café by around 1 percent.
Although, the highest percentage, around 65 percent, of buying coffee or tea in a café is of Melbourne’s, the city of Hobart definitely is the most popular area for instant coffee with 55 percent of its residents buying it. Moreover, Brisbane has just around 35 percentage of residents buying fresh coffee which is the lowest number by far. Furthermore, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart have around the same percentage of residents visiting a café which is above 60 percent, and overall, their percentage doesn’t drop below 47 percent.
