Overall, the proportion of secondary school teachers in Japan witnessed a significant increase over the period, while the reverse was true for Brazil and Luxembourg. Notably, the Czech Republic not only remained relatively unchanged but also accounted for the least share of the number of teachers.
Regarding Japan’s secondary teachers, it began with 9%, after which it grew noticeably to 14% in 2014, surpassing Brazil to reach the peak at the end of the period with 16%. Meanwhile, Brazil began at the highest figure at 20% in 2010, followed by a gradual decline to 14% at the end of the period.
In terms of Luxembourg, the percentage of teachers teaching in secondary school ranked second position at the beginning with 18%, and then decreased dramatically to 14% in 2011, experiencing a modest growth to 16% in 2012 but dropped sharply to 10% in 2017. Czech Republic registered a surge from 6% to 10% in 2011, fluctuating around 6% – 8% between 2012 and 2017
