Korea is considered as a recordsman among all six states in the chart by having the oldest retirement age for males and females, which is 68 years 8 months and 67 years 2 months respectively. In contrast, France has the lowest retirement age for men and women, with men retiring in 57 years 4 months and women retiring at 56 years 9 months.
States such as Japan and Italy have similar average age of retiring. Male employees in those countries are retiring at the age of 67 years 4 months and female ones at 66 years and 9 months. In comparison, japanese and italian employers sending their workers on pension way later than their counterparts in Australia (64 years 1 month for men and 63 years and 5 months for women) and USA (65 years 6 months for men and 64 years 2 months for women).
The lowest difference between retirement ages of men and women is considered in Italy and Japan, where males retire only 7 months later than female ones. The biggest gap is in Australia; aussie men are tend to retire 8 months later than women.
