Regarding reading and photography, reading recorded a surge in both urban and rural areas, from around 61% and 71%, respectively, to nearly four-fifths in 2010. Similarly, the percentage of citizens participating in photography more than doubled from 7% to about 17%, with people living in the countryside rising by 10% compared to 14% in the 1990s.
Concerning the remaining activities, The share of animated play in cities remained stable over the 20-year period, while that of countrysides declined slightly from just 18% to approximately 14% by 2010.
