The diagram illustrates the steps and tools used in the cement
manufacturing procedure and how cement is utilized to produce concrete for buliding purposes.
Overall, limestone and clay are the raw materials used in the process of cement production. Through multiple steps, starting with the crusher and ending with the grinder to finally reach the filled cement’s bags. On the other hand, four essential elements are mixed together in one step through the mixer to produce concrete. Thus, making it’s production simpler and less sophisticated.
In the first stage of making cement, limestone and clay are crushed, then mixed together to get into the rotating heater. Subsequently, they will be milled through the crusher, and finally, the produced cement will get sealed in bags.
While cement production takes complex tools and long steps.Concrete production takes only one step and one tool. Gravel, which is small stones, makes up half of the material used during the process of manufacturing concrete, alongside the other three materials, which are sand (25%), cement (15%), and water (10%). These are all poured and mixed together through a concrete mixer to ultimately form concrete as the final product.
