The diagram below illustrates the procedure for wool production.Overall, there are a total of nine stages, starting with sheep herding and ending with knitting or woolen production such as jackets or carpets.
The first step is to herd the sheep. They will be raised until they are mature enough to create for themselves a thick layer of fur. The furs will then be sheared off the sheep, and they will be washed to remove any potential contaminants on the furs, like dirt, animal’s fat, etc.Once the sheep’s fur is cleaned, the worker will dry it and connect it to a special instrument, which will brush the fur to make it straight and weave it into strands. From this point, the wools will be made into large tufts, which will later be stored. The side product of this process, which is the string, will be recycled and used for other purposes. The eighth step is that these stored wool tufts will be spun into spinning balls of yarn, which will either be used for knitting or creating woolen products like jackets or carpets.
