Growing global demand for oil and gas seems to be an increasingly widespread concern.There has been a significant increase in the global demand for oil and gas, previously unexplored regions of the world should be made accessible to tap into additional resources. I completely disagree with this statement in terms of several points which will be mentioned in this essay.
Firstly, environmental problems are increasing directly with the growth of oil industries, and global warming is a perfect example for this issue. Moreover, the reduction in green spaces and vegetation is also associated with the increasing dependence on exhaustible sources of energy. According to a study, green areas have decreased considerably since 2016 and continue to decrease.
Secondly, Moreover, the process of producing energy from oil and gas requires large amounts of money, making it an economic challenge for many countries. In contrast, unlimited energy sources such as solar and wind provide much less funding to convert these natural unlimited resources into other types of energy the world needs.
In conclusion, as stated above, I disagree with the idea of depending on non-renewable energy and destroying the world for this gain.İnstead, people should use renewable energy resources and governments need to start changing their ways.
