Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my concern about the current condition of our local park, Greenwood Park, and to suggest several improvements that could make it a more enjoyable place for residents and visitors.
The park is a popular spot located in the centre of our neighbourhood, with a small playground, a few benches, and a walking path around the lake. Many families visit it on weekends, and it is also used by students and elderly people for relaxation. However, in recent months, the park has become less attractive and convenient for visitors.
The main issues are the lack of maintenance and the limited facilities. Some of the benches are broken, the playground equipment is quite old, and the walking path becomes muddy after rain. In addition, there are very few rubbish bins, which often leads to littering. These problems make it difficult for people to fully enjoy the park’s natural beauty.
I would like to suggest adding new benches and modern playground equipment, as well as improving the walking paths with better drainage. Planting more flowers and trees would also make the park more pleasant. Finally, installing additional rubbish bins and better lighting would increase safety and cleanliness, especially in the evenings.
I hope the council will consider these suggestions to make Greenwood Park a cleaner and more welcoming place for everyone.
Yours faithfully,
[Your Full Name]
