Dear sir,
I am writing to thank you for the wonderful experience my friends and I recently had when we chose to celebrate my birthday at your restaurant. Both the food and service were of premier quality.
The evening started as it ended – perfectly. The starter mezze platter was of first class and unanimously praised by all my friends and my main course in particular – the mushroom risotto – was absolutely delicious. The best was kept until the last though, as the banana fritter desert was out of this world. The food was delivered efficiently and with a smile and the waiters were not too intrusive and allowed us to enjoy the camaraderie of the occasion.
I would also add that the restaurant’s sophisticated atmosphere definitely added to our overall enjoyment of the evening.
I would make one suggestion though. I found the wine left something to be desired. The house wine was not being served at the right temperature and did not go well with my meal. This did not take away from our enjoyment of the meal though and I would like to once again thank you for this.
