The pie charts illustrate us about the percentage of water usage for different reasons in six regions of the world. The information mainly gives us idea about the industrial, agricultural, domestic level water use in those regions.
Most of the water in north America and Europe is used for industrial purpose and the percentage of it is 48% and 53% respectively. It is the highest percentage for the use of water in that regions. Then, second highest usage of water is done for agriculture in Europe and north America and the percentage of it is 32% and 39%. The least percentage of water is used for domestic in Europe and north America. 13% and 15 % of total water is used in domestic in Europe and North America.
The largest amount of water is used in agricultural reasons in South America, Africa, Central & South East Asia. The percentage of water usage for those areas are 71, 84, 88 & 81 respectively. After that, among the 4 regions, greater amount of water is used in domestic use 19% for South America, 9% for Africa. The percentage of domestic water use for Central Asia and South Asia are in same range at 7%.
In case of industrial water use, maximum 53% of is used in Europe and lowest one is 5% in central Asia. North America is using 48% of their total water usage in industries whereas South America ,Africa , South east Asia are using 10, 7, 12 Percent respective.
To conclude, for the industrial purpose highest water usage can be seen in Europe and lowest in central Asia whereas for the domestic purpose highest water usage is seen in South America and lowest in Central & South East Asia. Agricultural purpose is taking the most amount if money in max regions. The highest for this one can be seen in Central Asia and lowest is seen in Europe.
