In a wide range of countries, grows a new popular idea which emphasize practical and soft skills over academic knowledge. Many believe that this change is beneficial to prepare population for the job market, however, others argue that dismisses the importance of learning and difficults self-improvement. Personally, I see this modify as an advantage. However, I expose both perspectives and disavantages.
On one hand, the expansion of this modify is a response due new requirements needed in the professions. The new demand is looking for personal capable and experienced, since the theoretical learning does not cover all the fields involve, is understandable why the academic institutions are transforming their methods. Adittionally, this stratety has the objective to fill the students with aplicative drills, which are useful for their curriculums and future professions. For instance, the technical school is a place where the students can develop their applicave abilites in small manufactires, those are conditionet to be quite similar to a real life spot.
On the other hand, the defenders dispute lacking of intelectuall awareness might difficult self-improvement and critical thinking. Because the learners have not information about various fileds, it might result into a poor personal realization or self identity. The explanation consecuent are for the subjects related, some being phylosophy, history and natural science. These subjecst are totally centred on abstract thinkink, which is uncommon and unnecessaty for the job market.
In conclusion, my personal share is that the applied skills are quite important for their bases ans consecuences. Nevertheless, I consider that the abstract think is important for the individual´s resolve
