Numerous employers are converting to online and digital shifts rather than the old way of working in the office. This modernization includes numerous enhancements, developments, and benefits; however, it also has opposite, negative consequences. In this essay, I will discuss each side and give my opinion.
A primary advantage of working online is time management and a comfortable environment at home for employers, and for individuals with disabilities; moreover, it affects their work by enhancing both efficiency and concentration. Employees can save more time on commuting and can escape traffic jams, and are able to conserve their essential time. Working from home is beneficial to individuals who have disabilities, because people with disabilities seek work just as normal people do.
However, it may not be suitable for patrons of this service who need face-to-face interactions. Employees are unable to feel and recognize the real co-worker environment and company spirit. Workers who work from home can be distracted by their family members or roommates. Employees who work online can’t participate in company events and take part in them, even if workers don’t know their colleagues and bosses.
In conclusion, workers should work in a way that is suitable for them, and a crucial role for employees is comfort. People should love their work and create happiness for themselves.
