Dear Community leader,
I’d like to address that I am no longer able to meet the requirements needed to organise this community event for a multitude of reasons which will be further discussed and explained below.
A reason for this is that I have to watch my little brother’s football competition. And though it seems like a minute inconvenience I really don’t want to miss this tournament because he made it on the team at the last minute and I wanted to be there for him to celebrate this huge milestone for him, which I know he worked extremely hard for. For most, this might just be another usual match, but to him, and to me, this is his first football game as part of the U13 boys squad and since my parents can’t make it due to personal reasons, I feel the responsibility lies with me, his bigger sister, to drop my commitment to this community event to fullfill my commitment to my family.
I’d also like to express my apology for the major inconvenience this may have caused, as I know this is something I chose to put myself through, and by no means is this something the community placed on me as a burden. Therefore, I will make up for this by linking the community up to another organiser who’s a good friend of mine, and runs a company called ‘James Events’ which sets up family and community functions for a cost. In which I’ll be paying for in full as well as sending him the plan I had for my tent set up so the event can be put together in the way we discussed initially. Hopefully this won’t end up hindering the courses of how the how smoothly the function will flow and I hope you guys have fun!
Kind regards,
Proud H.
