In many countries, there is a debate about whether students should study only the subjects they are interested in or study all subjects at school. This essay will discuss both views and give my opinion.

On the one hand, studying only favorite subjects can make students feel more motivated. When they learn something they like, they pay more attention in class and enjoy studying. For example, a student who loves art will spend more time practicing drawing and can improve faster. As a result, they may have a better future in that field.

On the other hand, studying all subjects is important for students’ overall knowledge. Some subjects such as mathematics and science are useful in daily life. If students do not study these subjects, they may lack basic skills. Moreover, learning different subjects can help students discover new interests.

In my opinion, students should study all subjects but they can spend more time on the subjects they like. This way, they will have general knowledge and also develop their special abilities.

In conclusion, although studying favorite subjects makes learning more enjoyable, studying all subjects is necessary for students’ future and basic knowledge.
