The bar chart depicts the percentage of internet access in urban/suburban and rural households between 2011 to 2016.
Overall, the access to internet has grew amongst all households. However, urban/suburban households have greater access to internet through out the given period. The biggest growth happend during the irst half of period for urban/.suburban households.
At the start of the period, in 2011, around 15 percent of urban/suburban households had access to internet and it had double the amount of households with internet acces next year, 30 percent in 2012, and reaching 40 percet in 2013. Internet access in urban/suburban households has been on a rise since the start. However, since 2014 the growth has slowed down, and in two years (from 2014 to 2016) the growth was only about 5 percent.On the other hand, rural areas had only little to no internet acces in 2011, about 2 percent. however it has been growing and reaching its peak in 2016 which was 35 percent.
