There is as an opinion that transferring taxes is sufficient contribution to their public. However, there are those who disagree, saying that people have more commitments as members of community than only paying taxes. In this essay, I will discuss these opinions and agree with latter view.
It is understandable why some people argue that taxes play a crucial role in community. Dwellers contribute to the government by paying taxes. For instance, there are variety of taxes, such as property, customs duty, corporate taxes which are significant matter in society. In addition, supporters of taxation argue that without this, governments would be unable to provide basic public services, for example, healthcare, education or infrastructure like roads.
That notwithstanding, it is widely believed that only payment is an insufficient part for meeting tax responsibilities. First of all, citixens have additional obligations beyond taxation. These include obeying laws, actively participating in public by voting or engaging in activities and preserve the ecosystem. For instance, individuals must follow rules and maintain order in society, being active in community life, avoiding crime and assissting in emergency phenomenon. Moreover, helping others through donation or volunteer can improve social well-being.
In conclusion, although paying taxes play a vital role society, individuals should also other responsibilities to development and stability of their community.
