The bar chart gives information about the percentages of three age groups of children who participated in four different activities in one European country in 2009.
Overall, the majority of kids watched TV, and the biggest figure was for 5-8 years old children. Older ones, aged 12-15, mostly preferred riding bikes as much as wathcing TV. Nearly the same proportion of schildren read comics and played video games, despite 12-15 years old students who were less interested in video games.
To begin with, over 90% of children between the ages of 5 and 8 watched TV, whereas this figure remained at about 80% for both 9-11 and 12-15 years old students. While around 65% of both 9-11 years old and 12-15 years old children read comics, this figure was slightly below for 5-8 years old kids.
In addition, approximately 80% of older group preferred to ride bike, while 5-8 years old and 9-11 years old students were at around 70% and 65%, respectively. However, only 40% the oldest group played video games, which is the lowest rate for all categories. While nearly 60% of the youngest group played video games, 9-11 year old students were slightly lower than younger ones.
