The graphic shows two bar charts.
The first one shows the percentage of men and women who had driving license since 1976. The studies demonstrate that in 1976, the 30 % of females had driving license while in 2006 this number were doubled. The numbers also shows a big difference between the number of licenses between male and females. In 1976, the 70% of mens had license and in 2006, the number reach the 80% of population f Great Britain.
The other bar chart shows the percentage of young drivers between 17-20 years old. It illustrates that in 1996 more youngers, both female and male, obtained their driver license compared to 2006. It presents, in 1996, the 30% of female drivers are young against to a 50% of males.
Both charts demonstrate that there are less female drivers than men drivers. However, the tendency is growing and we can see in the first chart that between 2001 and 2006, the percentage of male driver license hasn’t increased but female did.
