The provided maps illustarte how a small beachfront zone in Australia changed between 1950 and present day. Overall, it is clear that the area tended to be more commercial by adding more facilities such as a restaurant ,car parks and surf clubs.
In the northwest of the coast, a playground allocated for children was demolished and replaced by a car park. There is another car park in the right which was expanded to be larger today, along with more room for green spaces which extended compared to 1950. In the south, the beach became cramped due to the sea level which is more proximal to the green space nowadays.
While more facilities was constructed such as a restaurant and two surf clubs facing each other, the pavilion and other seats as well as a lighthouse in the southeast of the location remained unchanged. In the right corner, the swiming pool was became larger, whereas the opposite pool in the left stayed the same.
