Nowadays various researches have proven that transportation of goods and people are main source of pollution. Some people believe that government is responsible for the pollution whereas others believe that it is individual responsibility. Personally, I believe that every person should own their fault rather than government because government cannot do anything without the support of citizens.
Firstly, it is the responsibility of human beings to control pollution. People of todays fast-fashioned generation buy a lot of products online. However, most of the online product are not satisfactory as people could not know the actual material/fabric of the product. As a result, people keep on ordering and returning products. This transportation process directly impacts the air and results in air pollution. Furthermore, nowadays people own a vehicle per person in a household. The more vehicle people use in daily life, the more pollution occurs. Thus, individuals are more responsible for the pollution.
On the other hand, government also plays a vital role in controlling pollution by making rules and regulations in favour of environmental protection. In most of the countries, environmental protection, pollution control, are considered low priority task. Thus, some of the citizens are not aware of environmental issues. They do not have proper knowledge to protect the environment. In this situation, its is government’s responsibility to educate citizens.
In conclusion, both individuals and government play a significant role in nature protection. Government is responsible for making rules and provide education to its citizens whereas citizens are responsible for execute it in daily life. Personally, I believe that executing the rules is more important than making policies.
