Overall, it’s clear that the rate of electricity used by other metals, manufacturing, aluminum and agriculture saw changes, while the rest of fields remained stable throughout the period between two years. Even though the residential sector used the largest amount of electricity, both transport and agriculture were ranked as the lowest users.
In 2007, the figure for commercial came in second place in electrical usage, which was somewhat lower than that of residential, 23% as opposed to 28%. Although the electricity utilization of manufacturing was slightly more than that of other metals, reaching 13% and 12% respectively, the percentage of electrical consumption of other metals was one third higher than that of mining.
In 2010, the usage of electricity of other metals showed considerable increase, while the figure for manufacturing and agriculture dropped slightly, however the former used more electricity than the latter, with 11% compared to 9%. Others areas consumed the same amount as it was in 2007, where the leading consumption was seen in residential area and the least in the areas of transport and agriculture.
