Dear Merlin,

I hope you are doing well.

The reason to write this letter to you is to discuss my lease agreement. At the time, while having our initial conversations we had agreed to sign the lease for 6 months. Since I am are nearing to it’s completion, I wanted to talk to you incase it is possible to extend my lease by 6 months. This will cover my rental stay till end of December.

Although we started the agreement for just 6 months, this place has become very convenient for me. It is near to my new workplace, to shopping centers and is also accessible through transit. As I am new to the city, this extension will help me to explore and get more familiar with the surrounding areas.

Along with talking about the location, this apartment is beautiful and very cozy. It has most of the things I had wished for. However, I was hoping to check if you have received any update on the dryer which is under repair. Any information on that would be really helpful.
