Overall, work, sleep, and other activities accounted for the largest proportions of time for both genders. Women spent more time on childcare and shopping, whereas men devoted more time to household chores and other activities.
Work was the activity that occupied the most time for both genders. Men spent approximately 8.5 hours working each day, compared with around 8 hours for women. Sleep was the second-largest category. Women slept slightly more than men with around 6 and 7 hours respectively. Men spent considerably more time on other activities accounted for 5 hours which was 2 hour more than women.
Regarding to remain tasks, women spent more time on childcare with just below 3 hours while men spent only 1 hour doing this task. Women also spent more time shopping approximately 1 hour which was more than men about 30 minutes. By contrast, men spent slightly more time on household chores.
