Residing in an urban settlement has more advantages. This statement is believed by some, whereas others think that rural areas provide more upsides to their dwellers. Although living in the countryside has a number of benefits to me, inhabiting cities is more advantageous.
Most individuals choose to inhabit rural regions because the air quality of the countryside is much better than that of urban settlements. The main reason is that most factories and manufactures are constructed in cities; moreover, exhaust fumes from vehicles and harmful gases from these factories decline the air quality of huge metropolics considerably.
On the other hand, dwelling in urban areas provides access to high-quality medical services and better job opportunities, which rural areas cannot ensure. Needless to say, medical services of cities are more developed than those of the countryside. Because more doctors and nurses desire to find better jobs and earn more money, they move to large cities. As a result, the staff of hospitals and pharmacies in cities becomes highly developed. Another positive side of dwelling in cities could be better job opportunities. Nowadays, companies and manufactures prefer to operate in urban areas. Therefore, they launch new jobs for individuals. In cities, people find better jobs because cities provide not only many but also high-paid jobs.
To sum up, although the air quality of the countryside is higher than that of urban regions, with access to both better jobs and medical services, the positive sides of living in cities surpass its disadvantages.
