The pie charts illustrates the mean percantages in typical foods of three types of nutritives – sodium, saturated fats, and added sugars in typical meals in the USA.
Overall, it is clear that at dinner accounted for the highest propotion of sodium, whereas the evening meal makes up only 37% of saturated fat consumption. Regarding the largest propotion of added sugar, the largest percantage of sugar was seen in snacks.
Regarding the lunch, it accounted for 29% of sodium, making it the largest category. In contrast, the saturated fat represented only 26%.
Turning to breakfast, the percantages of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar were low. While the sodium stood at 14%, both saturated fat and added sugar contain the same percantage of 16%. Respectively the solid fat and sugar contain more percantage, than sodium for breakfast.
