The bar chart gives information about the proportion of children who chose to participate in four kinds of activities in a European country in 2009.
In general, it can be seen that watching TV accounted for the largest percentage in 5-8-year-olds, while in 12-15-year-olds, playing video games was the lowest contribution among the three activities.
Moving to a more detailed analysis, around 90% of children aged 5- 8 years watched television, followed by reading books and playing video games, with similar proportions of under 50%. Additionally, watching TV contributed the highest proportion for kids 9-11, whereas riding bikes and playing video games had similar contributions of just over 50% respectively.
Young people aged 12-15, however, preferred to ride bikes, which accounted for over 75%, and reading books recorded a moderate 50%. Playing video games had the least percentage, while watching television was in second place, at approximately 60% in 2009.
