The bar chart compares the percentages of children in a European country who participated in four different leisure activities in 2009, across three age groups.

Overall the televesion is the most popular activitie in all three age groups, whereas playing video games was generally the least popular, particulary among the oldest group. In addition, participation in reading comics remained relatively similar across the three groups, while the proportion of children riging bicycles was highest among the oldest children.

In terms of waching televesion, approximately 95% of children in the youngest age group participated in this activity, compared with around 80% in each of the other groups. Reading comics showed relatively little variation, with about 62% of the youngest children taking part, while the figure for both the middle and oldest groups was approximately 65%.

By contrast, playing video games attracted around 60% of the youngest children and just under this proportion among the middle group, at approximately 58%. However, participation fell considerably to only about 40% among the oldest children.
