Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to draw your attention to a significant deterioration in the quality of the local bus service in our area over the past few weeks. As a regular commuter, I feel it is necessary to highlight these issues in the hope that immediate corrective measures will be taken.
Recently, there have been persistent problems regarding both punctuality and the condition of the vehicles. The scheduled 8:15 AM bus, which many residents rely on to get to work, has been consistently arriving up to 30 minutes late or, in some instances, failing to appear at all without prior notice. Furthermore, the electronic displays at the main stops have been malfunctioning, frequently displaying inaccurate arrival times.
These ongoing disruptions are causing severe inconvenience to the local community. Because of the unreliable timetable, many commuters have repeatedly been late for work or school, which has caused considerable stress and, in some cases, formal disciplinary warnings from employers. Additionally, during peak hours, the cancellations mean that the subsequent buses are dangerously overcrowded, leaving elderly and vulnerable passengers with nowhere to sit.
To address these shortcomings, I would like to suggest a few adjustments. Firstly, it would be highly beneficial to introduce a few additional vehicles during peak hours to absorb the high volume of passengers. Secondly, a thorough review of the current driver schedules and mechanical maintenance routines should be conducted to ensure timetables are strictly adhered to. Finally, fixing the real-time tracking system at major stops would allow passengers to plan their journeys more effectively.
I trust you will give this matter the urgent consideration it deserves and look forward to seeing improvements in the near future.
Yours faithfully,
Maradan Lexasque
