The given line graph illustrates the number of projected elderly people in Germany, which divided into three age groups, from 2020 to 2050.

Overall, there was a dramatic growth in the number of population over 65 from 2035, before showing a slight decline. However, the number of citizens who is aged over 80 was increasing from 2020 to 2050.

The number of projected people over 65 were 18 million in 2020, but it climbed dramatically to 23 million in 2035. The number of citizens who aged 65-79 effected this rate, because, the 12 million of people who aged 65-79 grew sharply to 17 million, but, the number of people who aged over 80 went slightly to 7 million.

There will a rapid decline in the number of people who aged over 65 to 22 million. The reason why, 65-79 aged citiznes will decrease in 2050, but, the number of people who aged over 80 will climb to 10 million.
