There is a view that home-based education is more beneficial than offline education to enhance children’s well-rounded improvement. While I acknowledge the significant role parents and private tutors play in their kids’ development, I believe that people and experiences at school can have an outsized impact on the young generations growth.
Admittedly, students who taught by their parents can get more opportunities to study. One of them is they can easily change schedule to study. This is because their parents always have free time to teach their children and education only one or two students is more straightforward and convenient. As a result, learners can acquire knowledge whenever they have free time. Moreover, home instruction is a convenient alternative for families who live in areas with limited access to quality education or move frequently. Consequently, students do not have to go schools without educational reform or change their school. Ultimately, home-schooling can create an intellectually stimulating atmosphere for learners.
Despite these compelling arguments, I remain convinced that offline learning is more advantageous for students’ holistic development, especially social skills. First and foremost, classroom learning promotes both academic and social skills, because students can interact with other classmates and classroom atmosphere helps students to overcome social anxiety and fosters self-confidence. As a result, people can easily get on with others in the future. Moreover, pupil who study at home can face to isolation. This is because homeschooled children do not interact with classmates every day, which may limit their social development. It may affect to their future career or business, because they require advanced social skills.
In conclusion, although I concede that learning subjects at home has variety upsides, traditional schooling provides learners with high educational attainment. So, it is critical to strike a balance between domestic teachings and lessons outside the family.
